I have graciously been invited to be an official SEO guide on Wickedfire.com. Wickedfire.com is a webmaster forum that is in my opinion one of the coolest forums online. It has an edge, you can curse and although there are moderators it is a much more relaxed atmosphere then other webmaster forums.

I meet jon over at ASW accidently as our paths crossed when he asked me for a light for his smoke. After our brief meeting I had to ask him the hard questions at the power affiliate Q & A. Jon is one of the most ballsy guys I know.

I encourage my readers to check out wickedfire.com not just because of me but because you can learn a lot from this forum and meet some real quality contacts. This forum is also one of the leading forums on PPC arbitrage.

Also the wicked fire T-shirts are pretty ballsy.

Mybloglog Boycott? Are you serious?

I cannot believe that all of this is even possible in this day and age. Shoemoney posts mybloglog hacks and exploits. Eric gets pissed and bans Shoe and then major players in search boycott Mybloglog in hopes to get Shoe back into mybloglog. Eric apologizes and admits he is wrong.

WTF!!!!

Is the only reason Eric is apologizing because major players in search are NOT placing the mbl widget on their site? I mean perhaps he made a judgement call that was less then ideal but if eric made the decision to ban another blogger for the same reason instead of banning shoe would the blog community REALLY stand behind that blogger like they did Shoe? Probably NOT!

If this happend to an average blogger would industry professionals even care enough to post a “boycott”? I seriously doubt it! The fact that shoe has friends in high places makes his scope of influence much greater then any small time blogger. It makes me feel good inside to think that power players would make such an ordeal for the average joe but that is just not real life.

The only thing that the mybloglog boycott will accomplish is making eric unban shoe but at the very LEAST this whole ordeal has increased the popularity of mybloglog and in a month no one will remember this situation.

In my opinion both Shoe and Eric are in the wrong.

Shoe posted and promoted the use of hacks and exploits on mybloglog. After his posts hundreds of people would have manipulated mybloglog which is definitely a banable offense (if an average blogger did this and caused many people to hack mybloglog there would be NO question of a ban). It would have been good for him to email eric first and then make the post OR make his post but leave out the DETAILS on how to do it.

Eric, you should have never banned him unless you where going to stick to your guns. Now it looks like you can be pushed around.

Have you had a bad experience with a web host? Most likely your reason is listed below. Web host can really screw you pretty hard and web hosting support can sometimes be worse then open heart surgery while you are still awake. I hate customer support teams.

I have been doing a lot of reading over at shoemoney.com about mybloglog hacks. Jeremy has been, in my opinion, helping mybloglog fix possible exploits but with all of the noise he has been causing I think they got a little upset and banned him from mybloglog.

Rockyfied 2.0 is now released | The Rockyfied Vision

I have a new wordpress theme thanks to a great designer and a powerful vision. My favorite movies of all time are Rocky 1-4 (NOT 5). I still have not seen Rocky 6, but I heard it was pretty good and true to the Rocky theme. The movie Rocky is all about triumph over adversity. RockyBalboa faces impervious challenges and impossible odds but through hard work, determination, skill and heart, Rocky is able to overcome and succeed. He is the true spirit of the underdog.

The reason why I have chosen “Rockyfied” as my online handle, branding and mentality is because the SERPS and ranking for difficult keywords is like fighting Ivan Drago in Rocky 4,  SEO’s are the underdog against the giant Search Engines like Goolge, Yahoo! and MSN but through my hard work, research, skill level, determination, experience and my love for doing SEO I have been able to overcome many obstacles in this business.

This wordpress theme encompasses my mentality, determination and my love for SEO in one well put together artistic visual representation of my business mindset.
